Freedom Isn't Free

The Kindergarten's had a end of year program.

It was called:

"Freedom isn't Free"

They sang lots of songs and did the Pledge

of Allegiance.

Some of the songs they sang were:

Pledge of Allegiance, The Star Spangled Banner,

Butterfield Canyon, You're A Grand Old Flag, There

are Many Flags, This Land is Your Land, Yankee

Doodle, America The Beautiful, God Bless the USA,

Freedom isn't Free, Friendship Song, I Like Being Me.

He was so cute. I think he was such a good singer.

Science Project

This year Meg had to do a science project.

They wanted them to do a miniture golf hole

that included a simple machine.

We chose Star Wars as our theme. You have to

hit the ball into the Millenium Falcon and it would

spin the guns on top and then shoot it in the hole.

Nick worked really hard and Meg got to do a lot

of painting. They worked on it for over a week.

But I will say her's was the best one there.

Bobcat Award

Lucas got the Bobcat Award at school.

We were so excited. He had to do several

things like read 25 sight words, now all his letters

upper and lower cass, do an animal book

report, and lots of other things. We were

so proud only about 8 kids in class got it.

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day!

I just wanted to wish my best friend and

and one of the most wonderful guys I know

Happy Father's day.

His love and support is one of the things

I most appreciate. He is such a great father and

companion. No one could ask for a better man

then him.

What a great dad he is. His patience wether he

is teaching the kids to learn to ride their bikes, or

just helping them do their homework is neverending.

I can see his love for our family in everything he

does. What a lucky family we are to have him

for an example. He always puts us first and never

complains when we are ungrateful. WE LOVE YOU!

California Sunshine

We decided to go to the beach. The flights were wide open and the water was calling. We got up on Saturday morning and flew to Orange County, California. We met my dad there. It was so fun. We went to breakfast then we went to change into our suits at Uncle Alans house.






Of course one of the big highlights of the trip was Uncle Alan getting is convertable Jaguar out for us to ride in. The kids thought it was one of the best things to happen to them. They screamed all the way to Seal Beach. Uncle Alan said he didn't miss his kids being this young but I know better.
We spent the day playing in the water. The kids were worn out. It was so nice to just sit around and do nothing but watch the kids have the time of their life at the beach. I think we should make this a monthly outing.

Lucas's Trophy

The season is done. Finally we have made

it to the most important part of the game.

THE TROPHY!

Lucas couldn't wait. When the game was

over the first words out of his mouth

was "Where is my trophy".

I am pretty sure that is why he liked the

game so much.

Mothers Day Gift

For Mother's Day and my birthday I got a very

special gift. Nick drew a picture of my

kids with Christ. What a beautiful gift!

I love it. It will be such a wonderful reminder

to my kids when they see it how much they

are loved by Christ.
