Christmas!

Wow was Christmas crazy. I had to work that morning so the kids waited until I got home to open their presents. It was not easy. I woke up to a White Christmas which was nice to look at but not drive in. I did get off work a little early but Nick and the neighbor had to dig me out of the snow because the car got stuck just driving down the road. The kids were screaming when the saw me finally drive up. Meg asked for a Crystal Making Kit and was so excited to open it.

Lucas's is all about the Lego's. He couldn't wait to build the Indiana Jones set he got. He want all of them. The kids get new clothes each year and Meg loved hers. She wanted the boots so bad! Where has the time gone. She is growing up to be such a beautiful girl.

Skating With Santa

We had the best time this year at Skating with Santa. Megan love the skating and half way through decided she might try it by herself. I was so proud of her. It is such a mental battle for her to try new things.

Now lucas is different story all together. He could wait to just hit the ice running. He now says he doesn't need to take lessons because he knows how to skate. He is so outgoing that he had the best time with his new friend Kegan. If he had his way everyone would have been his best friend.

We did get to see Santa and made sure that the kids got
to talk to him. They wanted be sure and ask him
not to forget and visit our house this year. It was
such a fun night with Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle
Richard, Carter, Emily and Ashton that we never
wanted it to end. Even though it was cold!!!

Gingerbread Houses

It was our annuall Gingerbread house making. This is a big family tradition with Nick's side. The kids really like doing this.

This year the kids did the house almost all by themselves. I of course was at work so I go to see the final results. I think it was the best house yet.

Christmas Tree Decorating

Next to opening presents the kids favorite thing
is decorating the tree. They couldn't wait for us
to get it up.
